Since 1987, Los Angeles has been our home. We stand with our community during this difficult time. We are committed to supporting those impacted by the fires in the Los Angeles area, including the Palisades, Eaton, Hurst, Lidia, and Sunset fires. This page provides information on discounts, expedited delivery, product pick-up, donation coordination, and employee assistance for our community members impacted by the devasting fires. We will update this page as this program evolves and new information and guidance become available.

Discounts for Fire-Affected Customers
Discount: Customers impacted by the fires are eligible for our Avocado Employee Discount, plus two free Green Pillows.
Verification Process:
Provide the impacted address.
Verify using a utility bill, CA ID, or Real ID showing the impacted address.
The Avocado Retail or in-store Digital team will cross-reference the address using a verified map of impacted areas.
Final Sale: Products purchased through the fire-assistance program are deeply discounted to support those in need. As such, these items are considered final sales and are not eligible for in-home sleep trials. We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize assisting our community during this challenging time.

Donation Requests
If you or someone you know needs support with the following important details, submit a request via chat on our website.
Name, address, phone number, and email.
Product (mattress, frame, sheets, pillows, topper) and size.
Quantity needed and reason for the request.
Comments (optional).
Donations may include lightly used returns or factory seconds.
How We Source Our Donations
Partner Contributions: We collect returned products from premier retailing partners such as Living Spaces, Mancini’s, and Sit & Sleep in California.
In-House Donations:
Unsold or returned items from our facilities.
Samples from the Product Development and testing process.
Unusual materials from our production facility.
Customer Returns: We can re-route products from local returns directly to individuals in need instead of donation partners.
Support Impacted Families by Purchasing Products Directly
If you would like to assist families affected by the fires, we can help connect you directly with individuals or families in need. This allows you to purchase products, such as mattresses or bedding, on their behalf at a discount under this program. Please note: we are not a nonprofit organization, so we cannot legally collect and distribute financial donations ourselves. Doing it this way ensures your support goes directly to those in need while providing trust and transparency.
Support for Avocado Employees Impacted by Fires
Avocado employees whose homes were impacted will receive free mattresses, pillows, and sheets. For assistance, please contact your manager or People & Development directly.
