Adjustable Base Headboard Brackets
This bracket kit mounts to the head end of the base frame and lets you attach a bolt-on headboard. Adjust both height and depth to align with your mattress. One kit fits every size from Twin XL through California King, including Split King.
Fits Avocado Adjustable Base or Avocado Plus Adjustable Base models launched in 2026. Does not fit previous adjustable base models or bases from other manufacturers.
Follow these four simple steps for Assembly.
Unbox, unwrap, and lay all components separately on the floor similar to the image below.

Bracket for King/Cal King Sizes Only
Step 1: Connect the Mounting Adapters
Attach the mounting adapter to the base, but do not fully tighten it yet. Adjust the depth first before securing it completely.
Step 2: Connect the Rails
Attach the horizontal rails with holes to the mounting adapter. Again, do not fully tighten the screws until the final step.
Step 3: Connect the Brackets
Attach the vertical bracket to the horizontal rail bracket.
Step 4: Connect Extended Bracket for King/Cal King Sizes
For King/Cal King size headboard, if Bracket B is not long enough, please use Bracket H to extend Bracket B.(Check diagram above for details).
