Avocado sells two styles of cotton sheets — our Organic Cotton Sheets and our Organic Superfine Suvin Cotton Sheets (both come in a Deep Pocket Version — required to fit over our Luxury Plush Mattress), which we stitch with one of the rarest, most luxurious, and highly-prized fabrics in the world. Suvin is one of India’s top heritage extra-long staple (ELS) cotton. A unique property of Suvin Cotton is its extraordinary fiber length, enabling it to be woven to very high thread counts without sacrificing its exclusive softness and silkiness. Suvin’s 38-40 mm fiber length puts it leagues ahead of other cotton, including Pima Cotton (34 mm), Supima Cotton (34 mm), and even Egyptian Cotton (31.5mm - 36mm). Its unrivaled quality and our unique manufacturing process mean that the more you wash these sheets over time, the more luxurious and soft they become. Here are a few other differences.
