Are The Plastic Bags Your Towels Come In Really Compostable?

Yup, those bags are made from a biodegradable and compostable bio-polybag.

At Avocado, our mission is to redefine what it means to be a sustainable, ethical brand. We believe in a circular economy that accounts for the lifecycle of our products. That's why we're so dedicated to natural, non-toxic, organic materials. What’s more is that our GOTS-certified California factory, which we power entirely with renewable energy, is on its way toward a Zero-Waste certification, meaning nothing gets thrown away. We upcycle all our material byproducts.

It’s also why we use a bio-poly bag for shipping our Avocado towels. The polybag is biodegradable and compostable. After you remove your towels, you can toss the bag into your compost bin. If you don't have a compost (here's an easy DIY guide!), rest assured that once it enters the landfill, it will quickly decompose. This effort aligns with our mission to set a new bar in environmental and social responsibility.
