Honest, Slow Wellness

Unfortunately, the beauty and wellness industry is largely unregulated. In the U.S., only 11 ingredients are banned from use in cosmetics and personal care products. That leaves a lot of room for toxic and harsh chemicals to sneak into your skincare and body care routine — which can cause redness, irritation, hair loss, and more serious health problems like hormone disruption and reproductive issues.

We created our skin + body products to make your life better. And the proof is our ingredients. Our self-care rituals are inspired by the best of nature and science. They’re completely non-toxic substances and only include trusted, tested ingredients known for high-quality performance. The result is nourishing, replenishing formulas both you and your body will love.

Safe For You & The Planet

The first ingredient in most self-care products is water. As a result, fillers and preservatives are added to maintain shelf-life and prevent the growth of bacteria and mold. That’s not how we do things.

The majority of our hair, skin, and body rituals are made without water — known as anhydrous — so they don’t contain unnecessary additives The result is longer-lasting, potent formulas with a smaller carbon footprint and higher efficacy of ingredients. That’s better for you and the environment.

Nothing Harmful

It’s no secret your skin absorbs much of what you put on it. That’s why we don’t use synthetic perfumes or fragrances in our concentrates. The most common substances found in fragrances are phthalates. These chemicals are toxic and can cause irritation, allergic reactions, breathing problems, and even reproductive issues.

Our hair, skin, and bath + body rituals are entirely free of synthetic fragrances as well as other harmful chemicals found in beauty and skincare products, like formaldehyde, mineral oil, parabens, polyethylene glycol, and siloxanes. Instead, we use only the good stuff — healthy ingredients influenced by the powerful, symbiotic relationship of nature and science.
