All of our GOTS organic certified (CU863637) duvet covers — including our organic linen, organic hemp, and organic cotton covers — can be machine washed in cold water on the gentle cycle using an eco-friendly detergent. (Do not use fabric softeners, bleach, or whiteners, and line dry or tumble dry low.)

However, life's little spills and messes happen. When they do, you can easily spot clean your duvet cover without having to throw the whole thing in the wash.

How to Spot Clean Your Duvet Cover:

  1. Move the duvet insert away from the stained area.

  2. Apply a small amount of gently, eco-friendly cleaning solution. We recommend a 50-50 solution of water and white vinegar. Never use bleach.

  3. Blot the stained area with a clean, dry cloth.

  4. If the stain remains, lightly scrub the fabric against itself to help release the stain. Rinse the area with clean, cold water. Squeeze out excess water and repeat the blotting process.

  5. Allow to air dry.
