Fits standard bed frames and adjustable bases. Built with an organic latex layer and individually wrapped coils — organic cotton, organic wool, no polyurethane foam, chemical flame retardants, or fiberglass.

No Built-In Waterproof Layer — By Design
The Eco Organic Mattress does not include a built-in waterproof coating. That's a deliberate material decision: fewer processed materials between a sleeping body and the certified organic surface underneath.
For protection, we recommend pairing with one of two GOTS-certified options — the Organic Mattress Pad Protector for added cushioning, or the Organic Waterproof Mattress Protector for full liquid protection. Both are removable and washable.
PFAS Testing
The Avocado Eco Organic Mattress was included in our comprehensive PFAS screening — 320 substances tested at parts-per-billion sensitivity via LC/MS/MS and GC-MS. No detectable amounts were found. Full results are published in our Help Center.
