Yes. Every Avocado organic mattress is compatible with an adjustable base, including split-king configurations.
We offer two adjustable bases designed to pair with our organic mattresses. If you're using a third-party adjustable base, Avocado mattresses are compatible with any adjustable base, regardless of where it's purchased.
Split King
Each side of a split king configuration measures 38" x 80". The Split King Eco Adjustable Base accommodates mattresses up to 13.5 inches tall. If you're combining two different Avocado models in a split king setup — such as the Firm and Extra Firm — confirm that the height difference between the two is minimal to maintain a uniform sleep surface.
A single king mattress can be placed on a split king base, but using the split feature with a single mattress is not recommended and may cause long-term damage.
Care on an Adjustable Base
Rotate your mattress regularly — use the same schedule as for a standard frame. See our [care and maintenance article] for guidance on rotation. When the base is not elevated, keep it flat to maintain even support across the mattress surface.
