Mattress toppers are not legally required to be burn tested with an open flame to meet 16 C.F.R. Part 1632: Standard for the Flammability of Mattresses and Mattress Pads.

Our Avocado Green Mattress, Latex Mattress, and Luxury Plush Mattress use wool as a natural flame retardant to avoid nasty chemical alternatives. And in place of wool, our Avocado Vegan mattresses and Vegan Latex mattresses utilize natural graphite powder.
