Overview of Order Cancellation
Orders can often be canceled before they are shipped or processed. If an item has already shipped, a cancellation request will be treated as a return and must follow our return process.
How to Cancel an Order
Submit a Cancellation Request: Contact the support team to request cancellation.
Confirmation of Cancellation: Once the cancellation is processed, you will receive a confirmation email.
Refund Issuance: Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
If Your Order Has Already Shipped or Is Returned to the Sender
Once your item has shipped, your order cannot be canceled. It will be considered a return and is subject to our return policies. Shipping fees are non-refundable since Avocado incurs round-trip shipping fees as a result. This also applies to any product "returned to sender" with any shipping partner.
If your order has already shipped, you can wait for the delivery, attempt to reject it, and then initiate a return process to claim a refund.
Out-of-Stock Items
If the item is out of stock, you can request a cancellation to prevent fulfillment, ensuring a full refund. Refunds may take several business days to be reflected in your account, depending on your financial institution.
Long Shipping Lead Times
You may cancel items at any time before they have shipped. The refund will be processed after the cancellation is confirmed.
Processed/Prepared Shipments
Orders already prepared for shipment may require interception. A return fee may apply, and refunds are issued upon receipt of the returned item.
Refund Process
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your financial institution, the funds may take several business days to be credited to your account.
Refund Timelines: Typically processed within 7 business days, though exact timing depends on your bank’s processing times.
Confirmation Email: You will receive an email once your refund is initiated.
Refund Fees: In specific cases, fees related to shipment or product return may be applicable.
