The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) Chain of Custody certification is a system used to track and verify the origin of wood-based products from responsibly managed forests. The certification ensures that the wood used in the product's production has been harvested sin a sustainable and environmentally responsible way.

The FSC Chain of Custody certification process involves auditing and verifying every step of the supply chain, from the forest to the final product, to ensure that the wood used in the product comes from an FSC-certified source. This includes verifying the origin of the wood, the transportation of the wood, and the processing and manufacturing of the wood-based products.

Once a company has been certified, they can use the FSC label on their products, indicating to customers that the wood used in the product has been responsibly sourced and can be traced back to a sustainable forest.
