The organic latex in every innerspring mattress additionally holds GOLS certification (Global Organic Latex Standard) as a material — certificate CU863637, verifying ≥95% certified organic content. GOLS certifies the latex material; GOTS certifies the finished mattress.

Avocado's most accessible certified organic mattress — the Eco Organic Mattress holds all six finished-product certifications. No innerspring system; 2 inches of GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex over border coils. Layers listed top to bottom:

Same interior as the Eco Organic Mattress, except the individually wrapped coil unit is 6 inches tall in the Kids Mattress. Mattresses on bunk beds and trundles should be no higher than 8 inches to ensure kids stay within the guardrails' bounds and have sufficient headroom. The Vegan Mattress shares the same construction as the Green Mattress — available in Medium and Plush configurations — with two differences: organic wool is replaced with organic cotton batting, and natural graphite powder is infused in the organic latex as a non-toxic flame barrier. The Vegan Mattress is Certified Vegan by Vegan Action and PETA®-approved. All six finished-product certifications apply.

All Avocado crib mattresses hold the same six finished-product certifications as our adult lineup — including OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class I, the strictest tier, specifically designed for products used by babies and toddlers. No polyurethane foam, no chemical flame retardants, no fiberglass. No PLA bioplastics are used.
Eco Organic Crib Mattress
No latex foam layer — lighter in weight for easy sheet changes. Available in single and dual-sided options (4.75 inches tall, 21–23 lbs). Layers listed top to bottom:
